8; things that i love

1. fifi lapin ipod/iphone case: ugh this is just the most adorable thing. it's part of an online project where modern artists are collaborating with iconemesis. more information here!

2. margaret atwood's 'the handmaid's tale': i just started reading this gem a few days ago as one of my teachers compared my writing style to hers (which is quite the compliment!). the book is incredible. really. it's like 1984 from a feminist's approach. it's wonderful.

(i found my copy at a tiny toronto bookstore where the owner was an elderly little man that said things like 'righty-o!' i think it makes it more special.)

3. wishwishwish.net: i recently stumbled upon what is now one of my favourite fashion blogs. wishwishwish.net! Carrie's lovely! And her clothes! Swoon!

4. bow front cloche by topshop: i have this new obsession with hats. i don't know why. i just love them. this one is particularly nice.

5. the kills album, 'blood pressures': this album is perfect driving music and i've had it playing on repeat for the past week or so (though 'midnight bloom' is still my favourite kills album). i can't wait to see them live on the 7th!
